Dear Owners,
Welcome to our second newsletter. In this issue we provide you some feedback on a few sore points from the past but more importantly some new improvements which aim to make all our lives a little easier.
Firstly a warm welcome to our new Managing agents Schmidt Residentials. There is a rough road ahead of us but with their help and yours we hope to keep Carlswald Glen on track. So far we seem to be off to a great start by tackling issues head-on.
A BIG thank you to Sherryl Oosthuizen and Aneshree Govender for all their help in their previous term as directors. We have all seen the fruits of their hard work as we’ve seen our new grass and trees blossoming and a drastic improvement all round! Xolani Magele and Evelyn Marshall, thank you for opting to carry the torch with me through this year and welcome to Andrew Matjeke, our new director for 2009. For those of you ready to make a difference in your own complex please feel free to come and join us! Remember making our complex a better place is a joint effort and every little bit helps. ( No matter how insignificant you may think it is).

Communications
Our Website is finally up and running so check it out. Information will be updated on a regular basis so keep informed by visiting often. There is also a section for handy contact details for service providers as well as a section to advertise! So make use of it! Security
I’m sure most of you by now have noticed the new security systems in place and the stricter access control. As the festive season rapidly approaches we urge residents to please adhere to all the rules as it is for your own safety. We’re going to be tightening up security for this holiday period so please cooperate with the guards. They have been tasked with protecting our lives and assets and the least we can do is listen to them. Please report any activities that you think may compromise our security! If the guards do not follow procedure please report it so that we can implement corrective actions. We still have residents not following the rules and arguing with the guards. The rules are simple. If you are not a resident you should be signing in at the gates. Only residents should have tags. If you choose to let your visitor in by allowing them to tail gate behind you then you will also be required to let them out on exit. If they are not signed in then they will not be allowed to exit without your presence. We welcome your feedback on how we can improve our security system, so please do send us an email with all your recommendations. infocwglen@gmail.com.
The new Mircell equipment is alive and running. The procedure for entering and exiting the complex can be Downloaded here.
To update your number on the system please download the form "Mircell User Update Form" and fax or email it though to Linda from Lofthouse
Conclusion
Be sure to log on to our website to keep updated on things. Please register on the site so that we have your latest information on database.
Don’t forget to get to know your neighbour and ask them to keep an eye on your place whilst you’re away. Don’t know your neighbour? Perhaps we should arrange a CWGLEN Social. What do you think? Let us know.
Well that’s it from me for now. For those of you going on holiday this December please remember to inform security. We’re going to be tightening up security so please bear with the guards and support them in keeping our complex safe. If you have any ideas on how we can improve things in our complex please email them to infocwglen@gmail.com.
Kind Regards
Sabin Nair on behalf of CWGLEN HOA.
